Jeffrey L. Upchurch graduated from Bradley University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is currently enrolled in the Master of Science in Taxation program at Northern Illinois University, is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and passed the CPA exam the very first time he sat for it (only approximately 15% pass the first time). Jeff's experience is quite diverse and includes the following:
- Over five years experience working at Deloitte & Touche LLP (second largest CPA firm in the world)
- Over two years working for Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago
- Areas of focus include servicing individuals, non profit organizations and small businesses.
- Member of the Board of Directors and Finance Committee of Albany Park Community Center
- Member of the Northcenter Chamber of Commerce
- Treasurer of the Northcenter chapter of LeTip
- Guest lecturer at Depaul University
- Volunteer at the Neighborhood Boys and Girls Club of Chicago carnival
- Volunteer at the Northcenter Chamber of Commerce Ribfest
Jeff and his wife live in the North Center neighborhood of Chicago with their adopted dog Barnie. They enjoy traveling, reading and spending time with friends and family.
